Coronavirus. COVID-19. The pharmaceutical drugs cupboard is bare. Hydroxychloroquine. Chloroquine

The pharmaceutical drugs cupboard is bare. There is nothing available to treat Coronovirus COVID-19 (beyond washing hands and self-isolating). There has been mention of two drugs, hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, but they are not approved for used - perhaps unsurprisingly.

I first noticed how bare the pharmaceutical drugs cupboard was when I wrote my E-book, "Why Homeopathy?" which compares conventional and homeopathic treatment for a large number of serious illnesses and diseases. I was genuinely surprised when I discovered how conventional medicine had little or no effective treatment for many, if not most of these conditions.

The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has given further proof of this. The pharmaceutical medical establishment has no preventive treatment, or any treatment for the virus once it has infected an individual. This is why it has caused a such panic, a panic generated by governments who rely on it, and the mainstream media, who unquestioningly pay homage to it.

When someone is infected, all fingers and toes are crossed; help them to breathe; but otherwise just hope that they will pull round in time. That's all there is.

Yet this is conventional medicine. It has a reputation to defend. This is the medical system that tells us that it is defeating disease (even though chronic disease has increased multi-fold since it became dominant in most parts of the world). So it must be seen to be offering something, anything - beyond urging us to wash our hands!

So what about some existing drugs? Perhaps there is something already in the drugs cupboard that will help.
  • What about hydroxychloroquine?
  • What about chloroquine?
These are two old, tried, tested - and failed malaria drugs, both known to cause some horrendous side effects, leading doctors to be loathe to prescribe them.

Hydroxychloroquine (Paquenil).
The common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain or cramps, loss of appetite, weight loss, diarrhoea, dizziness, spinning sensation, headache, ringing in ears, mood changes, nervousness, irritability, skin rash, itching, and hair loss. More seriously it is known to cause muscle eakness, twitching, uncontrolled movement, loss of balance or coordination, blurred vision, light sensitivity, seeing halos around lights, pale skin, easy bruising, bleeding, confusion, unusual thoughts and behaviour, and seizures/convulsions.

Chloroquine (Aralen).
The common side effects include: blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, abdominal/stomach cramps, headache, diarrhoea, hair loss, changes in hair colour, and muscle weakness. More serious the also include mental/mood changes (such as confusion, personality changes, unusual thoughts or behavior, depression), hearing changes, darkening of skin or tissue inside the mouth, worsening of skin conditions, sun sensitivity, signs of serious infection (such as high fever, severe chills, persistent sore throat, unusual tiredness, swelling legs or ankles, shortness of breath, pale lips/nails/skin, signs of liver disease (such as severe stomach or abdominal pain, yellowing eyes or skin, dark urine), easy bruising and bleeding, muscle weakness, unwanted or uncontrolled movements (including tongue and face twitching).

Just what a patient needs whose life is threatened by a potentially deadly type of influenza - more toxicity for their immune system to cope with in a time of crisis!

Yet this is what pharmaceutical medicine does, all the time. They offer us drugs that are known to have serious adverse reactions but telling us only about the (fairly tenuous) benefits, and not the (known and serious) side effects. MIMS have emphatically said that these drugs are NOT approved for the treatment of COVID-19, but this message has not been so readily broadcast, and a cursory search of the internet shows that many people are now desperately looking for these drugs, aware of the 'benefits' but unaware of the dangers.

What is not broadcast at all are the many natural therapies that can protect us from the virus, and treat us if the virus is contracted. Unfortunately, neither governments, health authorities, nor the mainstream media are interested in a 'natural immunity' strategy.

Except, of course, for a small minority of people - in the know!
