Covid-19 Vaccines. Allow Pfizer to tell you officially about the adverse reactions their vaccine is known to cause

Covid-19 vaccines, we have been told, are extremely effective, and very safe. This is why we have all been urged to take the vaccines, and the vast majority of people have complied.

Indeed, the vaccines are so effective and so safe our governments are prepared to mandate them, force them on people who wish to remain vaccine free, either subtly (?) through 'vaccine passports', or by direct force - loss of employment, heavy fines and imprisonment.

Drug companies have a long history of launching new pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines as "super-drugs" and "wonder cures" that will "transform our experience of illness". There is also a long history of new pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines (the same ones) being withdrawn or banned because they have proven to be neither effective, and dangerous to human health.

So how are the Covid-19 vaccines doing, in terms of effectiveness and safety?

The official pharmaceutical analysis of the pandemic, the narrative that government, conventional medical authorities, and the mainstream media has been pressing on us for the past two years is adamant. 

  • They are safe. 
  • They are effective. 
  • Everyone should accept them. 
  • And anyone wishing to remain vaccine free should be forced to take them.

So what is the information coming out of Pfizer, one of the major pharmaceutical companies that has a huge stake the promotion of Covid-19 vaccines?

First, we should look at the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) that Pfizer has written, and has to be provided, by law, to everyone who receives the vaccine. This is what it tells us.

WHAT ARE THE RISKS OF THE VACCINE? 

There is a remote chance that the vaccine could cause a severe allergic reaction. A severe allergic reaction would usually occur within a few minutes to 1 hour after getting a dose of the vaccine. For this reason, your vaccination provider may ask you to stay at the place where you received your vaccine for monitoring after vaccination. Signs of a severe allergic reaction can include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Swelling of your face and throat
  • A fast heartbeat 
  • A bad rash all over your body
  • Dizziness and weakness 

Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart) have occurred in some people who have received the vaccine, more commonly in males under 40 years of age than among females and older males. In most of these people, symptoms began within a few days following receipt of the second dose of vaccine. The chance of having this occur is very low. You should seek medical attention right away if you have any of the following symptoms after receiving the vaccine:

  • Chest pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Feelings of having a fast-beating, fluttering, or pounding heart 

Side effects that have been reported with the vaccine include:

  • severe allergic reactions
  • non-severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching, hives, or swelling of the face
  • myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle)
  • pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart)
  • injection site pain
  • tiredness
  • headache
  • muscle pain
  • chills
  • joint pain
  • fever
  • injection site swelling
  • injection site redness
  • nausea
  • feeling unwell
  • swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy)
  • decreased appetite
  • diarrhea
  • vomiting
  • arm pain
  • fainting in association with injection of the vaccine

These may not be all the possible side effects of the vaccine. Serious and unexpected side effects may occur. The possible side effects of the vaccine are still being studied in clinical trials.

 Indeed, to re-use Pfizer's words, these might not be all the possible adverse reactions that can be caused by the vaccine, even though they demonstrate that the official pharmaceutical narrative has been, at best, "economical with the truth". The vaccine cannot honestly be is not safe.

However, another Pfizer document, one that was supposed to be 'confidential' but released under 'Freedom and Information' requests in the USA, shows that the company are fully aware of this. It demonstrates that whilst the Patient Information Leaflet can be considered more truthful than the official pharmaceutical narrative, to which we have all been subjected for over two years, even this is certainly far from being the whole truth. I apologise, in advance, for this huge long list of adverse reactions to the vaccine, which itself is a summary of section 5.3.6 of the document - "Cumulative Analysis of Post-Authorisation Adverse Event Reports" (thanks to Jonn Rappaport for this extraction).. Skim through it - you do not need to read it all, or understand the jargon. Each reported condition means that a certain number of vaccinated patients has been harmed in this particular way in the past year.

So can this vaccine really be described as "safe", as the general public have been so often told?

The NHS, Pfizer and Lyrica. Corporate Profit and Patient Harm

Conventional medicine treats neuropathic pain with a drug called pregabalin, conditions such as fibromyalgia, shingles, diabetic nerve problems, spinal cord injury, and many others. It is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent - and a dispute over patenting rights with drug companies has cost the English NHS, and the British taxpayer, an estimated additional £54 million.

Pregabalin is a nasty little drug, with lots of nasty side effects. The Drugs.com website lists these, and they include infection, ataxia, blurred vision, constipation, diplopia, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, headache, peripheral edema, tremor, weight gain, visual field loss, accidental injury, xerostomia, abnormal gait, abnormality in thinking, amnesia, arthralgia, asthenia, cognitive dysfunction, confusion (dementia), edema, neuropathy, sinusitis, speech disturbance, vertigo, visual disturbance, myasthenia, amblyopia, and so on.

Yet the harm it is known to cause patients has not been the issue, as usual. The problem has been money and profits - as usual! From July 2014 to March 2015 most prescriptions for pregabalin were for the 'generic' (the cheaper but identical) versions of the drug. However, the manufacturers of the branded (the expensive) version, Pfizer and Warner-Lambert, did not like this. When their UK patent for Lyrica expired in July 2014 they claimed they still held a ‘second medical use’ patent for when it is prescribed for 'neuropathic pain'. So they took the matter to court. An interim judgment found in favour of Pfizer, so in March 2015 NHS England backed down and issued guidance forcing doctors to switch thousands of patients’ prescriptions for generic pregabalin back to Lyrica.

In September 2015 the High Court threw out Pfizer's patent claim as 'invalid', and the Judge stated that Pfizer had made ‘groundless threats’ to pharmacists about dispensing the generic drug. They, too, backed down, and the GP magazine Pulse says that "some pharmacies even triggered a significant event alert every time a GP prescribed so as not to fall foul of Pfizer’s ‘threats’."

So now, after two years, and an appeal, the English NHS is directing doctors to switch thousands of patients back to generic pregabalin. Well, all is fair in love (the love affair between the NHS and drug companies) and war (the battle for profit)!

Pulse analysed the cost of this decision, estimating that prescribing Lyrica instead of generic pregabalin had cost the NHS an extra £54m between February and September 2015 - less than a year! It stated a BMA spokesman, Dr Andrew Green, told them that patients had lost out.

               "Pfizer, by threatening legal action against pharmacists and doctors if they prescribed generically, have boosted their profits and denied patients effective treatments that otherwise could have been provided with that money."

Financially, this is certainly true. The NHS has been screwed by Pfizer, but by now it should be used to this, pharmaceutical companies have been screwing the NHS for nearly 70 years! Green added,

               "They now have a moral duty to pay that money back to the NHS."

Maybe. But there seems precious little 'moral duty' around within the NHS, and certainly not within the pharmaceutical industry! They are both locked together in a medical monopoly, together with most patients who depend on the NHS, and therefore depend on pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines.

What nobody has been spared, or even discussed, during all this time, have been the dangerous side effects of taking this awful drug.

Postscript 24 January 2018
The doctor's e-magazine Pulse reported that official figures show that pregabalin-related deaths rose from 4 to 111 between 2012 and 2016, and gabapentin-related deaths went from 8 to 59 within the same period. There has apparently been discussions about how to control this nasty little pharmaceutical drug.

As a result proposals were made to restrict pregabalin and gabapentin, but according to Pulse these restrictions were labelled as ‘onerous’ and unjustified by the BMA. Too bad, doctors seem to be okay about prescribing dangerous drugs that can kill us; but taking precautions to protect us is a little too onerous!

Well, that at least demonstrate something about the priorities of the conventional medical establishment!

Drug Profiteering and Phenytoin. A nasty little epilepsy drug, at a nasty big price!

Imagine you popped off to the supermarket to buy a loaf of bread. Your favourite loaf cost £1.50 last time, but today you discovered it cost nearly £4,000! Driving away you decide to fill your car with petrol at £1.10 per litre, but this discover that the cost is now nearly £3,000 per litre.

This kind of inflation is possible. But only if you are buying pharmaceutical drugs! Big Pharma knows no restraints when it comes to profiteering. It is used to a profit ratio of over 20% when most other industries are happy with 5-10%.

This particular story has been well publicised. The drug company Pfizer has been fined a record £84.2m by Britain's competition regulator for increasing the price of their anti-epilepsy drug, phenytoin sodium, by 2,600%! The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said that the US company "deliberately exploited" the British public, who of course pay for the NHS. It also fined the drugs distributor, Flynn Pharma, £5.2m. Of course, such massive fines are merely back-pocket cash for the drug companies, or as one company director said some years ago, they are an accepted part of their business costs!

And of course this is confirmed by the figures. The amount the NHS was charged for the drug went up from £2.83m to £67.50m in 2012, before being reduced to £54 in May 2014. This increased the cost to the NHS from £2m to £50m in 2012 and 2013, a profit of £96 million for these two years alone. By my calculation, that is a profit, even after the fine is paid!

So what exactly is this drug, Phenytoin? It is an anticonvulsant drug taken by about 48,000 patients in Britain to control seizures, or epilepsy. What is not so well known about the drug, and certainly not mentioned (as usual) by the mainstream media, is that it is a particularly dangerous drug, with particularly nasty side effects. Drug. com provides this summary information (go to the website for more detailed information).

          "Commonly reported side effects of phenytoin include: congenital anomalies. Other side effects include: hepatic necrosis, ataxia, confusion, constipation, depression, dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, hypertrichosis, mental status changes, myasthenia, nervousness, numbness, tremor, tremor of hands, vertigo, excitement, irritability, mood changes, and restlessness."

     So the pharmaceutical industry wants us to pay nasty big prices for this nasty little drug!

So is it unusual for drug companies to behave in this way, charging excessive amounts for their drugs? Well not really. Last year a USA drug company was caught in a similar scam, involving Turing Pharmaceuticals, and the drug Daraprim. The price of this drug was raised overnight by over 5,000%. I will let the reader work out the increase on a loaf of bread, or a litre of petrol!

A spokesman for the CMA’s investigation is quoted as saying this about the increased charge for Phenytoin.

          "The companies deliberately exploited the opportunity offered by de-branding to hike up the price for a drug which is relied upon by many thousands of patients. These extraordinary price rises have cost the NHS and the taxpayer tens of millions of pounds."

So do the drug companies think they have done anything wrong? It appears not! Pfizer said they were making a loss on the drug before the 're-branding', and that the price set by Flynn was actually 25-40% lower than the cost of an equivalent tablet from another supplier. They felt that the CMA's findings were wrong. Flynn Pharma complained that the CMA has taken more than three and a half years to reach their decision which was based "on a wholly flawed understanding of the UK pharmaceutical market".

So both companies will appeal, and seek to overturn the CMA's findings in court. Perhaps the bread companies, and the petroleum companies should take note.

BBC News. A sudden conversion to honesty?

The BBC Today programme this morning featured a piece on GlaxoSmithKline's recent $3 billion fine for fraud in the USA.  


So is this a sudden (and welcome) conversion to honesty for the BBC when reporting on health matters? Or was this news just too big for them to ignore, and brush under the carpet? (which is what the BBC normally does when it deal with the Big Pharma industry).

The questioning in two interviews by John Humphrys would have appeared to be direct, and indeed quite critical - for anyone who was not aware of 'the health debate', but as this series of articles explains, journalist's like Humphrys are not really conversant with this debate. Certainly, the interviews he conducted made it clear that he believed, or wanted to believe, this was a 'one-off' situation, and he seemed relatively happy to accept the re-assurances that 'this situation was all in the past'. The interviews certainly failed to to bring out the full seriousness of the fraud that GSK has now admitted too.

Nor did it highlight the several other important court cases in the USA, involving several Big Pharma companies, in recent years. These have all been studiously ignored by our mainstream Media, just as they were this morning by BBC News.

* Eli Lilly, in January 2009, fined $1.42 billion for mis-selling its drug Zyprexa.
* Pfizer, in September 2009, fined $2.3 billion for defrauding and misleading promotion of its painkilling drug, Bextra (which was later withdrawn from the market for safety reasons).
* Astra Zeneca, in April 2010, fined $520 million for illegally promoting the anti-psychotic drug, Seroquel.
* Merck, in November 2011, fined $950 million for illegally promoting its painkiller, Vioxx, another drug that had to be withdrawn from the market for safety reasons.
* Abbott, in May 2012, fined $1.5 billion for its illegal promotion of its anti-psychotic drug, Depakote.

So the GSK incident is only the latest of a number of scandals - all ignored by the BBC, and other Media sources. And these stories are, of course, only the tip of an iceberg of fraud and corruption that have been perpetrated by Big Pharma companies on patients over the last 50-60 years.

Conventional drugs have created disease, in epidemic proportion. And they have caused death, and has done for decades, on an unprecedented scale.

This article, by Child Health Safety, states that Big Pharma drugs are now the 4th biggest killer in the USA (if the British media were honest enough to report these issues, perhaps we would know how it was ranked in the UK). But it should not be the task of small, internet based organisations like this one to inform the public, and patients in particular, about the dangers of Conventional Medicine. Patients should not have to turn to the internet to learn the truth about Big Pharma's drugs.

BBC News, in its public service broadcasting role, should be at the forefront of investigating the dangers of Conventional Medicine. It is not there yet.

But at least this morning's brief flirtation with honesty on the Today Programme might just be a start for BBC News, and if so, it is a welcome, if long-overdue conversion to open reporting on health matters.

We are currently in a time when the morality of large multinational companies is being brought into serious question. The Murdoch press has plumbed the very depths of corruption. The Banking industry is under very serious review. But do Media organisations, or Banks, really cause the same amount of pain, suffering and death to the general public as Big Pharma companies?

* Is phone-hacking worse than causing disease through drug 'side-effects'?
* Does financial impropriety, however corrupt or serious, kill more people that pharmaceutical drugs?

Unlikely! And this is what makes it even more important that BBC News, and other mainstream media organisations, to begin reporting honestly to us about health news issues.

Drug Company ethics, and Media silence!

Drug companies are being sued for $ billions in the USA, because of the harm that they are doing to patients. Now one drug company, Pfizer, is being sued by a union pension fund, saying that directors should be liable for the company's continued violation of federal laws. Pfizer have recently had to pay $2.3 billion as a result.

Glaxo-Smith-Kline has also had to pay out more than $1 billion because its antidepressant drug, Paxil, has caused in over 800 cases for causing birth defects.

As Dr Mercola states

"Pfizer not only made repeated violations of federal laws when illegally marketing their drugs, they did so knowingly in what is being called 'a calculated bet that the negative consequences of getting caught would never become significant'"

In the UK, their gamble with our health appears to have paid off. The mainstream media here does not report this news. Our government does nothing about the practices of the drug companies. And NHS doctors just continues giving us the drugs, as if they were helpful and safe.

Drug companies are playing games with our health in the interests of their profits. They do not appear to care about patient health. And they seem to have so much influence over governments, and the mainstream media that nothing is ever done about it.

Patients deceived by another drug company

Pfizer has been caught in yet more science fraud. The company has apparently been found to have altered findings for their drug, Neurontin http://www.naturalnews.com/z027692_science_fraud_Neurontin.html.

An unusual, one-off occurrence? Unfortunately not, indeed, it would appear that most large pharmaceutical drug companies have been caught publishing the 'science' they liked, and not publishing the 'science' the disliked! See this link, from my e-book 'The Failure of Conventional Medicine' for more examples of this illegal and unsafe practice.

Conventional medicine claims to be supported by an 'evidence base'. It would appear that some of this evidence base is actually fraudulent - and perhaps more of it than we are aware. That would certainly explain why so many pharmaceutical drugs, given to patients as tested, and therefore effective and safe, turn out to be ineffective and dangerous.
